Welcome to Our Parish

Welcome to St. Mary of the Hills Parish, a Roman Catholic Church and School (Grades pre-k through 8) nestled close to the Blue Hills in Milton, Massachusetts. We hope that our website provides you with the information you need to nurture and support your faith here in the parish and beyond.

If you are new to the parish, we extend a special welcome to you and pray that you will find a warm home here. Please introduce yourself to one of the priests after Mass or stop by the Rectory. If you would like to register, you will find the form you need here.

We invite all our parishioners to join fully in our life at St. Mary’s. We serve the community through worship, outreach, education, social activities, sacramental preparation, and comfort to the sick and those who mourn. Feel free to contact us if we may be of service to you in any way.

Every Life Is Worth Living... Join us for our third Milton Respect Life Walk from St Mary of the Hills to St. Agatha's on Sunday October 18th at 1:30 PM.  We will walk to raise awareness of life issues in Milton and the entire South Shore.  Entry fee of $5 per person or $10 per family will go to Friends of the Unborn in Quincy, a pregnancy crisis shelter that has helped many hundreds of women and their babies over the years.

After the walk there will be snacks and refreshments in the gathering space at St. Agatha's along with three short presentations.  If you can't walk please join us for the talks at St. Agatha's.  We welcome families to this event and because of this we ask that you not bring any graphic posters that would be offensive to families with children. If you have any questions please call Jim Kackley on his cell at 617-980-2804 or email him at jamesjosephkackley@yahoo.com.

Friday night visits to the Shattuck Shelter have begun.  The homeless guests look forward to and appreciate the ice cream and sweets served by our parish.  Our largest ministry is now being coordinated bySonia & Jed Doherty.  Find team schedules and more information here.
